SoICT Swinburne Sarawak will be organizing a webinar that is titled “Empowerment of Women in the Digital World” on 26th August 2020 via ZOOM at 3pm. The utilisation of ICT for the advancement of the world also calls for the contribution of women. Joining this webinar can help participants to know more about how women can play their role in the digital world. This webinar features three distinguished main speakers who are alumnae of SoICT SUTS. The first speaker is Amina Ahmad Kabir who will be talking about Barriers in Women’s Digital Inclusion. Amina is the founder and CEO of Datharm Ltd. of a company passionate about the development and utilisation of ICT in Nigeria in the field of Education and Public Health. Second speaker is Yee Yin Kit who will be talking about the 21st Century and Beyond. She currently works as a Business & Integration Arch Senior Analyst at Accenture (NewsPage). Last but not least, we have Mukhamedsalova Aiya who will share about Women in Tech. She currently works as a Software Engineer at Seek International based in Kuala Lumpur.
