Nur Hidayah holds a Bachelor’s degree in English (TESOL) from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak and a Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Universiti Putra Malaysia, showcasing her commitment to both language education and communication.
She first started teaching in 2013 in Malacca and continued to teach in Kuching as she returned to Sarawak in 2014. Over the years, she accumulated extensive experience teaching English and communication courses across various academic levels. She is also a certified HRDF Corp. trainer and has experience in conducting English and communication workshops.
Nur Hidayah joined Swinburne Learning and Teaching Unit and Academic Administrative Office as a professional staff in 2021. Some of her responsibilities covered the administrative role in LTU Learning and Teaching workshops, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Placement, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English Enhancement Program (EEP). While in LTU, she also took on a part-time academic role, teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and MPU units.
Currently, she serves as a Language lecturer in the School of Foundation Studies. She hopes that her academic and professional experiences and skill sets will be valuable assets in contributing to the university.
