Farouq Twaiq received his Bachelor degree in Industrial Technologies, Chemical Engineering from Amman University Collage for Applied Engineering, Amman, Jordan in 1994. He received his Master (1999) and Ph.D. (2002) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. Dr. Twaiq joined Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus (SUTS) in July 2013. Prior joining SUTS, he was assistant professor and assistant dean for research at University of Nizwa, Oman (2009 – 2013) and senior lecturer and head of department of chemical engineering at Curtin University of Technology Sarawak, Miri, Sarawak (2003 – 2009).
His research interests are in the area of Biofuel and Reaction Engineering.
