Prior to joining Swinburne, Jocelyn was awarded the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) in 2010 to teach the Malay language as a foreign language in Northern Illinois University, USA.
Currently, she teaches Academic and Communication Skills Part A, Academic and Communication Skills Part B, and Innovation and Change in the Foundation programme.
Jocelyn graduated from the University of Malaya (UM) with Honours in Bachelor of Education (TESL) in 2010. After working as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) at Northern Illinois University, USA for 10 months, she went on to pursue her MA TESOL degree at the same university.
Jocelyn is interested in learning the effective use of educational technology in solving current educational challenges. Jocelyn is also highly interested in examining the role of social media in local news dissemination and consumption, and digital literacy.
