Biography

King Ung received his B.Sc in Applied Physics in 2006 and his M.Sc. in Applied Optics in 2011 from the University of Malaya.

Upon the completion of his undergraduate studies, he continued to work as a research assistant in the optics laboratory of physics department, the University of Malaya on experimental optics research.

He was also a tutor for two years during his graduate studies. King Ung joined the Faculty of Engineering, Computing, and Science, Swinburne Sarawak (SUTS) in 2010.

His research interests include optical metrology and optical engineering for high-precision measurement, detection, imaging, and sensing.
