Swinburne Sarawak IET On Campus (SSIET) is an active student chapter of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), a multidisciplinary professional engineering institution based in Stevenage, United Kingdom. The On Campus was established in 2009 and has since received various awards, including being recognised recently as the world’s number one group for the IET On Campus Group of the Year Award 2019, recognised twice as the best student chapter in Malaysia by IET Malaysia Network, and the best academic club by the University.

What is IEM-SSSS? IEM-SSSS stands for The Institution of Engineers Malaysia - Swinburne Sarawak Student Section and is a professional club for all engineering students in Swinburne University Sarawak.

Swinburne Sarawak Students Chapter of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (SUTS IChemE Student Chapter) was launched on 4th of March 2015. Previously named as Chemical Engineering Club. All students under the Chemical Engineering Department of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus are eligible to join as a member. We act as a platform for students to share their knowledge, ask & communicate for all matters related to chemical engineering which will help students in their progress currently and in future. In addition, with the collaboration of regional IChemE; it provide students with the benefits of various networking for an insight to the applications of chemical engineering. We hope and plan to inspire and engage members through initiatives of various activities and opportunities. For example, industrial site visits, engineering workshops, internship sharing session and etc.
