Our Microbiology lab is fully equipt to enable training in light microscopy, wet microbiological procedures, and aseptic handling. The equipment available in this lab enables the aseptic handling of microorganisms (filtered air cabinets; biohazard cabinets), culture of microorganisms under specific environmental conditions (incubator room; incubators; bioreactor), storage of these microorganisms (separate cold room), the preparation of sterile media, and the heat destruction of microorganisms (large capacity autoclave).

The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology lab is equipped with the latest specialised apparatus and instruments for the two disciplines, such as Microcentrifuges, PCR thermal cyclers, Gel documentation workstation, Chromatography tanks, Rotary Evaporator and Spectrophotometers.

Our Chemistry lab is equipt to enable the teaching of qualitative and quantitative analytical, synthetic, and purification procedures. Inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry experiments take place in this space.
