Level Up Fitness is Swinburne Sarawak’s inaugural partnership marketing program partner

KUCHING – Level Up Fitness (LUF) Sdn Bhd is partnering Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus in providing a fitness package to its students and staff. This partnership also made Level Up Fitness the Australian university’s inaugural partner in its Partnership Marketing Program.

“Cross-marketing partnerships are becoming increasingly important today as brands realize the value in working together to reach similar audiences whilst providing value to their customers on both ends. This is a win-win-win situation for brands and customers and we’re thrilled to have Level Up Fitness as our first partner” said Jagdish Singh, Director Marketing and Communications at Swinburne Sarawak.

This partnership was concretized when the two parties signed a memorandum of agreement at the university today. Under the agreement, students and staff of Swinburne Sarawak can enjoy an exclusive membership package at Level Up Fitness VivaCity branch. For a monthly fee of RM118, students and staff who sign up for the package will enjoy the same benefits as Premium members and will get discounts for any Weight Loss Program provided by LUF, among other perks and benefits.

“The initiative taken by an institution of higher learning in ensuring that their community leads a balanced lifestyle is commendable and a partnership such as this benefits the community is so many ways,” said Kenny Sia Tze Foo, Director and Chief Executive Officer of LUF.

According to Professor Janet Gregory, DVC and CEO of Swinburne Sarawak, “LevelUp is a homegrown business chain that is fast expanding across Malaysia and this partnership makes perfect sense because Swinburne is committed to ensuring that our students and staff lead a healthy lifestyle whilst helping us build awareness and preference for Swinburne.”

Swinburne Sarawak plans to work with brands across consumer verticals with a similar target audience of 17-40 years old and several blue chip brands are already in negotiations with the university. “We will have a dedicated page on our website to list all our partners and the perks for our staff and students in addition to offering our partners advertising spots at high-traffic areas on campus, booths at our events and more. We welcome enquiries from potential partners and they may get in touch with me,” continues Jagdish Singh.

The MoA signing took place on Friday at Swinburne Sarawak and was led by Professor Janet and Kenny Sia, witnessed by Jagdish Singh and Saw Liang Mei, LUF Club Manager for VIvaCity. Also present were senior staff members of Swinburne Sarawak and LUF.
