Fuel cells and water electrolyser are the 2 key enablers of hydrogen energy economy where fuel cell allows the conversion of hydrogen (and fuels) to electricity whilst electrolyser allows the conversion of electricity to hydrogen. In Phase 1 of this Project, Research Centre for Sustainable Technologies is looking for up to 5 enthusiastic Masters/PhD students to join its efforts in driving the research and development ecosystem within Sarawak Hydrogen Agenda by applying materials engineering and applied electrochemistry to develop new electrocatalysts for next-generation direct alcohol fuel cells and water electrolyser. The project will come with 100% tuition fee waiver along with competitive stipend, conference, and discretionary funds. Interested applicants, preferably Sarawakians with Masters by Research/First Class Honours Graduates in Chemical/Electrical/Environmental/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science with a minimum CGPA of 3.33 are encouraged to apply. Please send your CV to jsunarso@swinburne.edu.my.
