The program is for students currently studying at an overseas institution. Applicants would usually have

• completed their first year of tertiary study
• demonstrated good academic history with minimum GPA of 2.6 or 60% or equivalent
• must meet Swinburne Sarawak’s English Language requirements

English language requirement

A general guide to the minimum English Language proficiency requirements for students wishing to undertake a Study Abroad program at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Sarawak:

• IELTS Academic  – 6.0 (no individual band below 6.0)
• TOEFL (paper-based test) – 550 (minimum TWE 5.0)
• TOEFL (internet-based test) – 80 (no band less than 20)
• GCE ‘A’ Level – score of a ‘C’ or better
• International Baccalaureate – minimum of 4 in English A1 or A2 (Higher and Standard Levels) or minimum of 5 in English B (Higher Level)

Any qualifications or test submitted as proof of English language proficiency must not be more than 2 years prior to the program commencement date.
